The manager of the Riad I’m staying at suggested this place. The waiter Ishmael was very friendly. I ordered the fish tagine and tea. He brought me some bread and two bowls of dipping stuff and a bowl of olives. I really enjoyed the meal and the tea. If you want the full Moroccan experience, here is the place. Made to feel like kings only to be made look like fools when the bill came. Enjoyed little about my short stay in the country, but by far this was the lowlight of the trip. We had a delicious meal at the Al Madina restaurant. The food and service were excellent.
We ate here in our first night in Morocco and were a bit nervous after we read the reviews below, but were pleasantly surprised! This place is beautifully decorated, the service was great and the food was delicious! We were not torn, we got bread and 5 delicious spices on arrival, ordered a soup and a chicken tagine to divide between us and we got mint tea and dessert after it! The bread, spices, mint tea and dessert were all free and we had no problems sharing with our tagine! Our bill came to 90 Dirhams, as advertised on the menu that we were very happy to pay. Would recommend this place to everyone!

I was worried since I read the previous reviews after I ordered and after the waiter brought me bowl of soup to try even though I didn’t order the soup. I was never charged for the soup and it was delicious. Great service, great food, I would recommend to friends.
Delicious food, reasonably priced. Staff friendly if a little bit OTT but that’s expected. Excellent tagines and the chicken pie was interestingly superb too. Recommend if you did yourself hungry in the heart of the Medina.
The food was delicious and well priced. We didn't have the same issue one of the previous reviewer when it came to the bill *cough* cough* David *cough* *cough*. I do agree that we were treated like kings though. It was a great local experience recommended by the locals.
