we stopped in the devon cafe for a bite because my man had read all the good reviews. honestly, our experience was disappointing. I ordered a coffee and an egg salad sandwich for both of us. it looked like a...fresher coffee was made so it was nice, but if they like a good quality, rich cup coffee, they won't get it here. Their homemade soups (delicious!) plus generously filled sandwiches are a favourite of ours. Top it off with their incomparable carrot cake or slice of fruit pie and you'll be delighted--and well satisfied too!
This cafe's food was really quite unexpected for a small town. Very fresh and homemade dishes and desserts. We had french onion soup, egg salad sandwich, club and salad, delicious raspberry pie and scones. All fresh and nicely presented.
We went there for breastfast and it was very good .It was a Mom and Pop store with the restaurant in side what a nice surprize.The person who served the food was also waiting on store customers ,I would go there again ,it was nice sitting there and watching people coming and going .
An awesome place to eat and shop.....very friendly staff and manager!!! Good food and some very unique gift ideas.
If you're looking for home-cooked breakfast or lunch, you must stop by this place. Serving breakfast and lunch, everything is home made. And the store has a lot to offer including the best prices on Birkenstock shoes in eastern Ontario. A true gem in a bustling village!
