While some enjoyed exceptional food and attentive service, others faced frustrating delays, insufficient portion sizes, and steep prices. Highlights included delicious dough balls and praised dishes like the nduja calzone and "sloppy giuseppe" pizza, yet many customers lamented the lack of timely service and felt their meal didn’t justify the cost. Despite promising elements, such as friendly staff and clean surroundings, the inconsistency in service quality presents a challenge. Overall, the restaurant shows potential but needs to address service and pricing concerns to improve guest satisfaction.
We had a great time during our visit to this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was good. We always love the dough balls as a starter. I tried the nduja calzone for my main dish and was very impressed. Overall, it was excellent. However, spending slightly over £50 for 2 cokes, 2 dough balls, and 2 pizzas for lunch is a bit expensive for us, so it might be some time before we return.
We were in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant was not too crowded. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks and food. I tried the "duo romana" which is a half and half pizza. I chose the "padana" for one half and the "sloppy giuseppe" for the other half, both of which were delicious and highly recommended. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu which was also very good. We also enjoyed a coffee. The restaurant appeared clean, the server was friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The only downside was that the food took a bit longer to arrive, even though the restaurant was not very busy. Parking can be a challenge near the building, but there is additional parking across the street. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant.
I went with my family for Sunday lunch to make use of Tesco vouchers. There were 4 adults and 2 kids in our group. We started with various doughball starters and chilli prawns, followed by mains of lasagne, cannelloni, margherita pizza, and la reine pizza. For dessert, we enjoyed chocolate fudge cake and warm brownie. The kids had doughballs, pizza, and ice cream. Every dish was delicious, served promptly and hot, despite the restaurant being busy. The entire experience was excellent. Our server Shaun L deserves a special mention for his attentive and superb service, making our meal enjoyable. He is a credit to the company. Thank you.
We’d booked a table and were welcomed, promptly seated and given a menu then we waited and waited. After 25 minutes we hadn’t even had a drinks order taken. The staff looked miserable and like they just couldn’t be bothered. So we left and went elsewhere.
Absolutely appalling, me and my aunty arrived at 18:09 we was not asked what we would like to drink until 18:30, it wasn’t busy but we continued to wait, by around 19:05 no one had came to ask what we would like to eat, multiple members of staff had seen us, we’d put our hands up and even of attempted to call over a member of staff but no one came, in the end at 19:06 we decided to pay for our drinks and leave, very disappointed
