World Of Beer - Tampa

I 've been to this location before and it has been OK. My friend and I decided to go for Sunday brunch because the menu selections seemed to be very creative and fun. Anticipating watching the game I went with the Nachos. I watched an order walkpast me and they looked tall and well plated. DON 'T let that fool you. Yes they look good on the surface but once you get pastthe very top layer of toppings you have NOTHING but chips. I mean if they served it with salsa at least you would have somethingto eat the DRY chips on the next two layers. They describe it as having beans but good luck finding them. It 's the trick manyrestaurants play on you when you order nachos. There are only a few places that actually layer the nachos with toppings even ifit 's just cheese. My friend got the doughnut appetizer. It was impressive looking but they rely on just maple syrup for flavor.We also ordered the eggs benedict. They looked good but the eggs were very overcooked. The whole purpose of a Benedict is tohave a runny egg to use as the sauce for the dish. It 's a very disappointing experience to have all of the food you order beextremely underwhelming. Service was ok. We were greeted and sat right away. The hostess was pleasant and quickly told us whatTV 's our games would be on. The server was fairly attentive, but seemed a little disinterested. We had considered having a fewdrinks after brunch but left right after we finished and just caught kickoff. The location is very nice inside. They have anample number of TV 's. I 've enjoyed some of their food in the past, but this time was a total fail.

Came in to have a meal and that?s what I got a nice meal ordered the fried shrimp and fries and it was good. This is a nice sports bar that has huge burgers and a large selection of beer. Right inside the Avion park area across from the airport a muststop place.

Nothing bad to say on a Monday evening. Services was good. Food came out hot and fast. The loaded Tots are a must! Chipotle chicken flat read was full of flavor. I loved the fact that you can Buil Your Own Flight from the drought selections. Priceswere very reasonable. We will be looking for these when we are in the Tampa area...or just put one in, in North Port or Venice.

During my 5-day trip to Tampa, I visited this restaurant twice and was impressed both times. The staff handled the busy evenings with ease, and Robert, the bartender and server on my first visit, was efficient, knowledgeable about beer, and fun to chat with. Despite my age of 60, he made me feel welcome and showed off his character. World of Beer has a great selection of beers on tap and in bottles, including many local options. Robert recommended a delicious Cigar City red ale, which I enjoyed along with a flight of local brews. The food, including the bark meat barbacoa garnelen tacos and loaded taters, was surprisingly good. The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of 5 hotels and has a lovely covered terrace. I highly recommend World of Beer and will definitely be returning whenever I'm in Tampa. I may have even found my go-to hangout spot.

I love the burger Monday deal at this restaurant! The beer selection is great and the burgers are amazing. In my opinion, they are some of the best in Tampa. The patties are thick and flavorful, and all of the appetizers are delicious. I have been back several times and will definitely continue to do so.
