Thai Island - Tampa

I came to lunch on Wednesday and had a great experience. They had a cheap lunch special that came with a soup and a perfect tapioca pudding dessert. I got Curry and it was great. The food also came nice and fast, which is important for lunch on a working day.

I was over from Sarasota to Gainesville looking for Thai food. I checked on Google and found a restaurant for 246 reviews and 4.5 starts. I went there and I love the place and the surroundings, and the service was quite friendly, but the quality of the food was terrible. The padthai was watery and too sweet. Also smells funny. The chicken dish was fine, but the chicken meat was chewing. What is the problem with the 246 reviewers. Are they real people or bots?

A very nice Thai restaurant on Davis Island. The maize butterflies were delicious. Nice pad Thai and the fried rice dish was excellent with many nuts and raisins. Yeah.

1. Let's go to Thai Island. Colorful, rustic, excellent service and very tasty and celebrate 20 years in the same Davis Island location. Clay is a great host, woman and mother in law all make for a great family restaurant.

Excellent food and courteous service. On Saturday, my family and I went out to lunch. The lunch specials are substantial. The sauce is delicious, and the garlic bread is both soft and crispy. My children adored it.
