Portillo's Hot Dogs - Tampa

I have only one word for Portillo's: wow. The Portillo hot dog was fantastic, the Maxwell Street Polish was amazing, and the chocolate eclair cake was out of this world. Everything had wonderful flavor, the prices were reasonable, and the customer service was excellent. Joey W says he will definitely be back.

The service at this restaurant was excellent! The place was clean and the employees all seemed content. They were all smiling and attentive, even though they were very busy. They quickly noticed us and asked if we needed anything or a refill, which was very polite. The only downside was the flimsy packaging of the chili dog (we accidentally stabbed ourselves on it), but the overall dining experience made up for it.

My first experience at this restaurant was good. The burger was tasty, even though I usually prefer a medium patty. The staff was friendly and funny, and the food was prepared quickly. Although the burger combo was more expensive than typical fast food, the portions and taste were better than average. Next time, I will try a shake or dessert option instead of a full meal. Overall, I would return to this restaurant, but for $17 per person for lunch after taxes and tip, there are better value options nearby. For dinner, where the specialties are less common, Portillo's is a solid choice.

Simple, uncomplicated American kitchen! everything was made perfect. I had the Chicago dog I think has to live for every adventurous eater in her. I have to say it is the unique preparation of a dog I have eaten and on a good wise. we also had the kesefries, I tried the wobble rings and had a chocolate malt shake that was one of the best I had. the order was punctual, correct and all they need was in the bag (knapkins. utensilien, etc. absolutely loved eating and the environment, although I took the food. just what I would say is their big is quite large, so the portions were a little big for me, especially the shake so in the head it will keep more than enough, also for some heavier eaters out there like me.

This a taste of sweet home Chicago. If you haven't been here before, come hungry. You have to try a real Chicago dog at least once in your life, right? These guys do it right. After you've had that, you must try an Italian beef sandwich. I like mine slightly wet, with AuJus on the side, but they'll make it any way you want it! For dessert you really have 2 awesome choices. Either their homemade chocolate cake, or they're chocolate cake shake. I prefer the latter, but it's almost like a meal in itself. You would be crazy not to go here!
