Papa Joe's Cuban Sandwich Shop - Tampa

I’ve had better Cuban sandwiches. The pork was overcooked and stringy, and there was barely any meat. The sandwich had three slices of pickle and a small piece of cheese, with just a tiny amount of mayo and mustard. Save your money and go somewhere else for a quality Cuban and friendly service!

The woman who took my order seemed very scatterbrained. After I explained how I wanted my sandwich made, she acted as if I was bothering her. When I received my order, there was no lettuce, tomato, or any seasoning on the sandwich, so I politely asked her about it. I mentioned that the last time I ordered, I was disappointed. Eventually, she added tomatoes to my sandwich, but it was quite frustrating overall.

The quality of eating was ok, the service was less than that, I stopped because the sign front advertising was a bogo wurstei and cheese breakfast sandwich, and that is what I ordered and after about 7 min the dame me a bag with a sandwich in it, I asked where is the bogo and was told that I did not order and when I asked about the other sandwich, the dame said no? I would think she could be better customer service skills and the basic courtesy shown when someone commands that her advertised bogo article commands to confirm that they just want a sandwich, how should I know it needs to be ranked differently. that's a bad customer service.

In general the food is excellent. The Cuban sandwich is awesome. Black beans and rice are the best I ever had.
