What User doesn't like about Oggi Italian Davis Islands:
I even asked for toasted bread to go with the caprese and received a bowl of croutons instead. As for the chicken Marsala, it was the driest, toughest chicken breast I’ve ever encountered. It was so bad that I had to sip water just to swallow a bite. The sauce? Far from authentic—with no cream in a true Marsala dish. The side of broccoli was pitifully wilted and utterly tasteless. Eating was amazing... lovely sitting outside among the lights also in hot flareida weather there was still a big breeze and fans. We also had the kids and they loved the different pasta and sauce options.
Food was incredible. Got the pesto gnocchi, butternut ravioli, and wheel of the day. I will be dreaming about this food.
After seeing the photos that drew us in online. We decided to give Oggi a chance. We made reservations online. Arrived on time and inside was insanely loud. There isn’t a host stand so they just see us standing there like. Someone seat us please. We sat outside in the alley and it was fine. Our waitress kept forgetting about us. The food was okay. Drinks took forever to get to us. Burrata- great. Bruschetta- great. That’s about it. I wouldn’t recommend to go for a celebration but a casual dinner. Sure. We may try again at a later date but last night was a turn off.
Authentic Italian dishes with a lively atmosphere. Definitely a must if you’re on Davis Islands.
First time here, service was on point! Food was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. We will be back. We ordered the burrata to start and chicken Alfredo and the gnocchi. (Only got a picture of the burrata, to excited to jump into the main course to snap a picture)
