Went for the first time today and had some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Quiet intimate setting, efficient service. Lots of regular customers and we could tell it was a cherished place for locals in the know : View all feedback.
What Gordon Seidoh Worley doesn't like about Toki Japanese:
food was mixed bag. ramen was packaged, tempura had too much breding, macaroni salad ??? didn't have much flavor. croquette and veggies and rice were good. sushi was decent. View all feedback.
This place is one of the best sushi joints around. There’s always other southeast asian folks dining here so I assume it’s pretty authentic. Their eel is amazing. Their takoyaki is also very good. I highly recommend the dragon roll as well. The waitress is phenomenal she knows all her regulars and so do the chefs. Love this place.
This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Tampa, the miso soup and takoyaki are my favorite starters, tempura bagel, dragon roll, eel and firecracker are the best. 100% recommendable!
Delicious sushi! Hidden gem of Tampa and service is really good. Good high quality fish too. I would highly
Sushi chef was Japanese. They had their Uni supply delivered an hour before we arrived.Sushi prices are for one piece not two and this is because the quality is very high. The appetizers and from the kitchen options range from very Japanese to excellent fusion. The spicy tuna cracker (senbei) was wonderful. The men’s bathroom has a washlet just like in Japan! Go treat your mouth to a luxurious sushi dinner then treat your butt to a luxurious bidet spray
