Let this review be your final verdict: this place is a perfect 10/10! I had an amazing experience with the staff, and the other customers were incredibly friendly. I initially just went in for a soda, but ended up trying two patties—one beef and cheese, and one chicken curry. Before I dug into my food, the barbers next door insisted that I must try the jam jam sauce. And let me tell you, if you don’t order your meal with the jam jam sauce, you’re truly missing out on an explosion of flavors!

The food here is amazing! The waitress with the short blonde hair is fantastic—she’s incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu, but my favorites are the oxtails and the shrimp dishes. Give them a try; you’ll definitely be hooked! The only thing I would suggest changing is having the young Jamaican man at the register take a step back from customer interactions. His attitude and customer service skills could use some improvement, and he definitely needs more training in that area.

Y'all... I ordered this through Door Dash while visiting in Tampa. They stop taking orders at 7:55. I placed my order at 7:54. They accepted it! I ordered medium oxtails, j chicken, plantain, cabbage, and rice and peas. The oxtail were the best I've ever had--ever. They were meaty, juicy, seasoned well, and with a rich, non-oily gravy. It was also a satisfying portion at a phenomenal price compared to my local area. I had ordered the chicken case the oxtail wouldn't be enough. I ended up eating that the next day. It was good too.

Amazingly friendly staff. I was torn between everything on the menu. Loved the stew chicken and j chicken!!! The soursop juice oh my goodness ? really delicious. Hidden ? gem !!!! Definitely will be back

The rice was overcooked, and the cabbage had corn in it, which was an unusual and unappealing combination. Honestly, it felt like the dish could have used a few raisins too. I’ve never had cabbage with corn before, and it really didn’t work for me. It would be better to leave the cabbage as is—no corn, please! The macaroni and cheese could also use some improvement; it felt overly sweet. On a positive note, the beef patties were good, and the jerk chicken was decent, but it didn't stand out. Overall, the rice definitely needs to be improved.
