I have been here a couple times. The first time was a great experience. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was so romantic. The second was as good as the first the staff was less attentive and I did not make the best food choice. I ended up returning the food because it was too pink for me. It was our first time at J Alexander’s and will certainly be back. We had a wait so we had a drink at the bar. Ryan greeted us immediately, my dirty martini was perfect.Our server was Scott who was knowledgeable and friendly. I had the filet Mignon with the orzo and wild rice. My steak was cooked perfect and the orzo and wild rice exceeded my expectations. We also had the prime rib which was amazing. The carrot cake was one of the best dessert I’ve had, super moist and delicious.My only negative complaint is it was kind warm in the restaurant other than that everything else was great.

Great experience, great service, and food. We always stop and eat a J Alexander's when we are on vacation, and they never disappoint. Missed some photos of the man meal but the devil eggs and mex chips and queso was a great starter.Food: 5/5
Service is great. Staff is great. The food is get-what-you-pay-for quality. It’s great for burgers and ribs and things like that. Steak is ok, side salad was hurting as was the broccoli. Love the staff though. Hate rating anything below 4 or 5 stars but this is a good solid 3.5 star place and very affordable.
Excellent service! Our server Nathan was amazing and the manager was so accommodating! Food is very good would highly recommend and the drinks were even better :
