Great food energetic atmosphere. Our server, Oat, was a true delight. We went on a Sunday evening and there was live music which was an unexpected treat. The food was delicious drinks were tasty too. Would definitely go back, still so many things I want to try on their menu. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Haiku Tampa:
had been here last night. the appetizers we ordered were very good and arrived at a good pace. we then waited over an hour after the appetizers until our escaped arrived, and when they did, they were quite terrible. the truffle tempoura tuna roll a $26 roll was completely boiled and dry. the zitruslachsrolle had the thinnest pieces of laugh I've ever seen. it was clear that our Entree order was lost in the shuffle th... Lychee martini, old-fashioned for drinks, both swing on the sweet side of the palate. fried gyoza was decent, house role was great. (all ordered from the happy hour menu 4-6pm). the journeys were bark short ribs with wasabi kartoffeln and broccolini. short ribs were well prepared, delicate, tasteful and comforting. wasabi kartoffeln had intermittent strong heat stamp, not consistent in taste. broccolini was still a bit crisp, which was to say, not limp and soggy. also had umami grill salmon over a bed of black rice, swash, edamame and black bell, with zilantro. salmon was quite thick and I was initially worried about whether it was boiled over and dry or undercooked in the center. no worries, it was perfect. light crust on the outside edges, moist and delicate inside, slightly apart. Unfortunately, the menagerie of the ingredients below was less than desirable. may be served better than on the part of themselves, for they were only a crowned concoction that was not enjoyable. service was good, regular check-ins, dishes cleaned on timely wise. loudness was not a problem, despite repeated pre-conferences in the opposite. the prices were somewhat high, but the happy hour offers facilitated some of the sting. would come back, reservations recommended.
Took the family out after going to The Tampa Theater for a school event. Very nice ambiance and decor. Served by Samuel, who took very good care of us. The food was very good. Kids had the steamed gyoza and kids fried rice. My wife and myself had the Banging Shrimp and the Mango Tuna Stack. Also shared a roll. A bit pricey, even for sushi standards. Overall, we had a good time. Definitely a good place to get the night started and meet with friends. As always, you're welcome.
Very nice! Food was top tier! Service was great and waiter explained menu perfectly!
