Euro Food Deli - Tampa

My husband and I visited this restaurant on December 31, 2023 to purchase food for our New Year's Eve celebration. Unfortunately, we were given expired sausage dated September 22, 2023 and smoked mackerel with no discernible expiration date due to a cancelled date on the packaging. It was truly unbelievable! Be cautious when visiting this establishment. Additionally, the staff was not very welcoming as we had to wait for approximately 15 minutes while two female employees chatted amongst themselves without acknowledging our presence or our need to pay.

The food selection at this restaurant is impressive. My husband and I tried their honey cake, which was incredible! We also got some smoked mackerel from the display case near the checkout, and it was delicious. We will definitely return. The ambiance was laid-back and the staff was welcoming.

I found a hair in my homemade dish and the atmosphere was not welcoming.

Food is expensive and poor selection. But what bothers me is that they put out the Ukrainian flag while half of their food is Russian. And there is a jar to collect money for Ukraine. Like our government hasn't given them enough yet.If you are a grocery store, then start out of politics. If you want to be for Hamas or Ukraine, keep it to yourself.
