Amazing sushi, wonderful service and the appetizer was absolutely delicious. So much taste, and the sushi was very fresh. Wasabi was extra sharp, the volcanic roller was my favorite. The fish upstairs was so delicious. All the flavors were fantastic. Very nice small place with beautiful sushi rolls. View all feedback.
Personally, in my opinion, here is the most delicious sushi that I have tried in the Tampa Bay area. Great staff. You can sit inside and outside. Not big but very cozy place

I don't take the quality of the food into consideration for this review because everything was delicious. However, throughout our dining experience there was a significant lack of friendliness as well as prompt service from the waitresses. I went the entire meal without a drink refill, and it wasn't until we paid the check that my water was refilled. Upon receiving the check, I noticed that there was an automatic gratuity added at 20% of the bill. I understand that for parties of 6+ there is an 18% auto gratuity, but we were a party of three and it was more than the regular 18%. When questioned, the waitress explained that they recently added this policy due to customers not leaving a tip. I didn't think anything of it at the time, however the next day I called to verify this policy and was told that there is no such thing. I find it absolutely disrespectful and rude to take advantage of your customers. I never tip anything less than what is deserved, and to have this happen makes me absolutely disgusted.Again, the quality of the food was not what caused my one star, but rather because of the audacity of the waitress to take advantage of young adults.
Overall our experience went just as expected! We rostered the Rainbow Roll, a Florida Roll, and a couple Miso Soups. Our total was about what we expected for a Sushi experience, around $35. The soup was one of the better Miso Soups we've both had. Both rolls were as expected. Nothing more. Nothing less. I personally felt the Rainbow Roll was missing a touch of acid via a sauce of some sort but otherwise the quality was there. The atmosphere is a typical Old Seminole Heights bungalow house vibe which feels like you're dining somewhere super local and homey. The service was great. Maybe a touch enthusiastic but they were passionate about their food and how items like the Miso Soup weren't from a powder. We both would go back but have previous for other Sushi restaurants if we wanted a slight bump in quality and wanted to venture out of our neighborhood. Beware parking may be a bit tricky with construction off Nebraska.
Chill, laid back atmosphere. The sushi is amazing with a variety of other dishes. The hosts are great as well. We were introduced to the establishment by friends and now we're hooked. Don't walk, run to this place! Limited seating but worth the wait!! Happy eating!Parking: The establishment sits along a residential neighborhood road. The lot is small so it's best to find street parking nearby.
