Don Julio's Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Excellent Mexican food with great service. Their menu includes what I consider Americanized and higher quality offerings, so expect something a little different than other local Mexican restaurants; prices are very reasonable, though. Very small and quaint location, but also a very fun environment. Our favorite local joint. You wont be disappointed.

I am rarely one to write a review unless it was that great or worth recapping our experience to save someone else- We were craving Mexican food tonight and this came highly reviewed and rated however we were shockingly disappointed. Service was very slow, we asked for certain things we had to ask twice, food was just “okay” nothing like what the reviews reflected. The carbonation in the soda water was great for my fiancé and I enjoyed the sangria.. besides that, unfortunately we will not return.

Best Mexican cusine in north Tampa. The red enchiladas were authentic and the best we have had anywhere. The nachos with grilled chicken and tacos were also awesome. The service by Lizbeth was excellent and the prices were very reasonable.

Looked for a non-chain Mexican restaurant, and Don Julio 's was the closest. After reading the existing reviews, we thought it would be worth the trip. So glad that we did. It was early, about 11:30, so there were no other customers other than those collecting to go orders. Very clean facility with incredibly fast service, and delightful food. My husband 's go to bench mark is a Chicken Chimichanga, which he said was one of the best he had ever had. I had a taco salad with ground beef, which was small, but very tasty. When we are in the area again, we will go back. Very nice experience.

Food here is absolutely good, I ordered the beef enchiladas that comes with rice and beans. I also ordered the Peach Margarita and let me tell you how that hand made drink was the bomb. Thanks Don Julio’s, I will be back!!!!!Food: 5/5
