This is a very nice place. The service and the cofee was very good. There honestly isn't that many good cofee places on the east side of downtown Tampa/ that portion if the riverwalk. I find it worth it to walk over here any time that I'm visiting the Florida Aquarium or doing other activities over here. View all feedback.
What T doesn't like about Cry Baby Cafe Downtown Tampa Harbour Island:
I got the Eggs Bene Bowl and they left off the hollandaise sauce--you know, the thing that makes it a proper eggs benedict?? Also note, during lunch, make sure to always check your to-go order for the side of potato salad that it is included in the price, because the two separate times I ordered lunch--chicken salad sandwich and BLT--I stopped before I walked out the door, checked, then had to go back to the counter... The breakfast sandwich was fantastic! It was so good that I ended up getting it twice this week. The women who took my order on both occasions were very friendly, and I will definitely return if I'm in Tampa again!
This is a fantastic café located near the water on Harbour Island. After my first visit, they unfortunately removed my favorite sandwich, the Hangover Cure, which is why I can only give it 4 stars. However, I'm excited for new options and hope to see the Hangover Cure make a comeback!
The bathroom was filthy on a Sunday morning. I ordered a hot Americano, but it arrived cold. When I mentioned it, the staff said it might have been the half-and-half, so I took a sip, and then she poured the drink back into a steaming cup and heated it up. I don't find that very sanitary. I definitely do not recommend this place, especially since we deserve a nice little café in the area. Such a disappointment.
I dined here three days in a row and loved it each time. The chicken salad and turkey sandwich were fantastic—fresh and delicious. The iced coffee was amazing, just what I needed. The staff were great too!
This is a lovely spot. The service and the coffee were both excellent. Honestly, there aren't many great coffee places on the east side of downtown Tampa, particularly along that section of the Riverwalk. I find it well worth the walk whenever I'm visiting the Florida Aquarium or engaging in other activities in the area.
