I also tried the fried turkey and plantains accompanied by pikliz. The turkey was perfectly seasoned and cooked, remaining moist and flavorful. The plantains were sweet and paired wonderfully with the spicy, tangy pikliz, which was also expertly prepared. I couldn't resist ordering a patte, and it was just as impressive! I loved everything about the authentic Haitian experience at Bon Zanmi. I highly recommend this place, along with Kreyol Delight, as the top two spots to enjoy Haitian cuisine!

I believe I've found my new favorite Haitian restaurant. I've visited several places in the area, but the griot and legume here are unbeatable. The staff is always friendly whenever I go.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was outstanding. I will definitely be returning multiple times—this has become my new favorite spot!

This is the best restaurant I’m a Haitian man in an interracial relationship my wife fell in love with our cultures food especially the Diri Djon Djon rice every time we drive 45 min to the restaurant it’s usually done we went there yesterday again and same thing fortunately yesterday while dining there they made her a special side of the rice. The food here is the essence of our culture I’m proud to say this is our Bay Area #1 Haitian restaurant

My first visit yesterday (10/16/21) at Bon Zanmi was a great experience. The service was impeccable. I had a griot which was delicious well prepared and cooked. The portion was plenty for one person. I brought a friend who never had Haitian food before and she was impressed. Yes, I will go back and also referred them to family and friends. I gave a 4 stars out of 5 due to the fact I believe more could be done to the restaurant to make it more representable and the menu was not complete. I hope in the future to see these two above issues acknowledged, so I can bring more friends with me. Kudos to the gentleman that had served us. Five stars from me and my friend to him!
