Great for quick friendly service with traditional breakfast, lunch and fast food freshly cooked. The bacon and egg barms are consistently good. They are also famous for their potato hash! View all feedback.

I decided to visit the café this morning for a breakfast sandwich and coffee in order to support a local business. Even though there was a McDonald's nearby, I chose to avoid supporting an American company. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. The muffin was thin and soggy, the bacon and sausages were slimy and undercooked. The presentation of a plastic knife and fork made it clear that the food was not up to standard. I couldn't bring myself to eat it, so I ended up throwing it away. I should have complained, but being British, I decided against it. The only positive aspect was that the coffee was decent for the price I paid. Now I understand why some people choose to eat at McDonald's or other fast food restaurants instead.
The bar staff had a disappointing attitude to say the least. I recommend hiring staff who prioritize being friendly and welcoming as a standard requirement.
This restaurant is excellent. I have been there several times and the service is always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic and the eggs were cooked perfectly.
Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. This café provides excellent value with a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and more. I tried the keema curry jacket potato and it was delicious with plenty of keema filling. The portion size was generous and the meal was worth the price. Much better than the American fast food alternatives. The service was pleasant and friendly.
I went to the cafe this morning for a breakfast sandwich and coffee in an effort to support a local business. Even though McDonald's was open across the street, I wanted to support a non-American company. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The muffin was thin and soggy, the bacon and sausages were undercooked and slimy, and the overall presentation was lacking. I couldn't even eat it and ended up throwing it away. I didn't complain because I'm British, but the service was fast. On the bright side, the coffee was decent for the price of nearly £6. Now I understand why people choose McDonald's over other fast food options.
