Description

The Windmill restaurant offers a delightful dining experience characterized by exceptional service and a warm atmosphere. Guests have praised the friendly staff, particularly Maggie and Laura, for their welcoming demeanor. Many enjoyed a sumptuous carvery, deemed great value for money, while others savored the delicious, generously filled meat feast calzone. However, not all experiences were positive; some diners expressed disappointment over incorrect orders and lackluster food, signaling inconsistency in kitchen performance. Despite these mixed reviews, the restaurant remains a charming destination with potential for enjoyable meals, especially when complemented by attentive service.

The service at The Windmill is exceptional - Maggie and Laura are very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and served hot. We will definitely be returning soon for great value for money.

We recently visited this restaurant and quickly remembered why we haven't been back in a while. We ordered the ultimate signature burger, but were disappointed to find no salad on it and the brioche bun was burnt. The fries were dry and tasteless, and lacked any sauce. We won't be returning, as the food was not worth it. The service was fine, but it's hard to blame the waiter when the cook is lacking. We did appreciate the 50% discount on the bill, but overall, it was not a good experience.

Years ago, the people rated this place and never rounded to try it today. omg! I wish we had not disturbed meals come wrong and waiter didn't care at all when we explained that eating had not come with the right side orders. everything we shrunk his shoulders and ran away. I don't think he was rude. we have starved and decided to eat. I have fish and chips that had muddy heaps, but came with shoved, cured heaps. chips were not boiled and some were still frozen fish seemed to have fun after the taste and was a little slim. partner had the carving special and it was all other than special came with stale brot and in the same condition as I tried to keep the waiter, but although he had made eye contact with me, he did not come over the restaurant was not very busy, but getting a worker was almost impossible. ends up telling a dame behind the bar that was beautiful and could not apologize enough, but we have starved and £40 easier the management here must check some of their employees seriously as they are very incompetent and rude.

The entire team at this restaurant provides excellent service. The food is delicious, and the manager does a fantastic job. Keep up the good work!

Just had a lovely carvery with friends at the windmill. I must say the serving lady Maggie was so happy and polite it was really nice to see a smiling face made our experience a pleasure thanks you Maggie!!
