I've used this chippy In the past and it was OK, the last time I used it I got a fish Dinner it Was awful but I give it the Benefit of the Doubt and tried it ag... read more I've used this chippy In the past and it was OK, the last time I used it I got a fish Dinner it Was awful but I give it the Benefit of the Doubt and tried it again this time the chicken ball was all thick soggy Batter and a bit of chicken lukewarm and tasted **** also got salt n pepper chips again awful chips was hard also just warm it cost me £15 with the drivers tip and the lot went In the Bin cheers village chippy for nothing . Avoid this place people now I know why they only accept cash .

WHY it was horrible spoilt the whole meal. Waste of money. Have you got a new cook?? The battered chicken was a bit over done, usually very succulent. Thinking twice now

It took 30 minutes to get our order correct, and when I final... read more I went to Village Chippy with some friends for the first time and we wanted to grab a bite to eat. It took 30 minutes to get our order correct, and when I finally received my food, it was not what I had ordered. When I went back to complain and check the food, I was told that I was lying about it. The food quality was very poor and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
