Utter shocking! Order over the phone came to collect staff talking to each other whist a queue has formed then toil the staff 15 minutes to even service me even then they blanked me no your order is not ready nothing. Will not come back DONT COME HERE! hasformed the
I have been to this Chinese a few time and not impressed at all, the last meal I had shredded chilli beef was full of fat, left most of it. Will not be visiting again.
Put a order in and got completely got the wrong stuff and then got just chips! Honestly would not recommend worse experience then just get chips with no curry! NOT COMING BACK!
In our opinion the Sun Lok is the best Chinese in the area and one we always use. They have as expected all the usual culinary dishes and although they also do fish and chips the Chinese food is cooked separately so no fishy batter on your sweet and sour chicken etc.
It has been several years since my last visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, the food was still quite awful. Deciding to give it another try after 4 or 5 years was a huge mistake. It was even worse than before. Nearly 90% of the dishes ended up in the trash. The food quality was atrocious and served cold.

Tried here for the first time in years and was very disappointed Food was cold and I literally live a few mins away. Ordered a portion of spring rolls and got 1 massive one and was tasteless just full of bean sprouts Salt and pepper chicken tasted very fishy and it had a hair in it! Chicken foo yung was 1 huge omelette with 3 pieces of chicken was freezing and very watery
Horrible order was wrong, food was dripping in grease and badly cooked. Possibly one of the worst meals I have ever had. They must see a lot of new customers but just the once.
Ever since the present owners took over the food has been very substandard. The food is lukewarm and tasteless, they seem to be trying to be trying to make up for quality by giving you massive portions of chips. Every now and again we give them another try but it’s not getting any better so that’s it for us.
Just lately every takeaway I've had from here has been terrible, chips are always warm ups, chicken foo young cold, had stopped ordering as used to go often but lately its disgusting!!!
I have been going to Sunlok for over 20:years and always been satisfied, however last month I got fish and chips which were so horrible I threw them away. I thought this might have been a “one off “ so tonight we had a full Chinese takeaway and it was worse. I think they are new owners and the place is not to be recommended. Poor quality food and the worse chips I have ever tasted. Stay away.

Delicious fish and chips. chips beautiful and crispy, curry sauce glasses, and on the fish really slightly crispy. my favorite place! prawn cracker very revered!
Salt n pepper chicken was delicious. Really nice not too greasy. Salt n pepper chips . Was okay but didn't taste like snp. Chips could be a lot better. But overall nice food. Would definitely try again. Also looks nice and clean. The chips were a let down but gave 4 stars because the chicken was really tasty.
Takeaway Chippy/Chinese was my favorite place. I don't know what happened to the chips, but please go back as they did earlier! prices have also risen lately.
