Several individuals volunteer their time and effort to promote and manage the market. The town team, Karen Dorney of Paper Tulips, and the market team work tirelessly to organize regular entertainment and oversee the successful monthly artisan market. Gordon Cooke maintains the historical traffic spinning, while traders offer a variety of stands for visitors to peruse. On the 6th of May, we will be hosting the Hyde Awards ceremony, where 27 local individuals and groups nominated by residents for their positive contributions to the community will be recognized. The event will take place at 1 o'clock at the market and is free for all to attend.
This restaurant is the perfect spot for conducting business. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to visit. Once you experience it, you won't easily forget it.
Hyde Market has a long history dating back to 1848, making it over 150 years old. Today, the market is a lively and bustling place, showcasing an Artisan Market on the first Saturday of each month. Located in Clarendon Square, opposite the Town Hall, the outdoor market is complemented by a wonderful indoor market in Hyde Market Hall, accessible through the mall. Visitors can find a variety of goods such as fresh produce, deli items, baked goods, pet supplies, watch repair services, jewelry, eggs, tailoring services, health products, mobile phone specialists, beauty services, cards and gifts, a wide selection of clothing, and even a cafe. The market fosters a sense of community, with shoppers greeting each other as they browse the stalls. A visit to Hyde Market is definitely worth it for a taste of local charm and a unique shopping experience.
