Had a lovely meal here today, the daytime menu is great value and served very quickly indeed. The service of our waitress Kelly was fabulous, been served by her before she’s attentive and friendly and is a credit to the restaurant. View all feedback.
What cameronbishop doesn't like about Franky And Bennys:
I was greeted as soon as I arrived, which was a good start. I ordered my food and received the appetizers relatively quickly, but the Fully Loaded Potato Skins were dry and not served very warm. We then had to wait 40 minutes for our main courses, and unfortunately, I couldn't get any drinks during that time because the QR code ordering system at our table wasn’t working, and the servers weren't very attentive. I ordered the mac and cheese, but it arrived cold and lumpy, which was not pleasant. The chicken burger was too tough to bite into, and the garlic bread pizza was hard as well. The meatballs left much to be desired, and the sticky chicken wings were neither sticky nor properly cooked. The only thing I enjoyed were the chips. Overall, I am extremely disappointed, especially considering the bill came to £57. I can't believe it!
The delivery time changed twice before we finally received our order, which was particularly inconvenient as it was nearing the kids' bedtime. When the desserts finally arrived, they were presented reasonably well in separate boxes, but the contents were a culinary disaster. The waffles were cold and undercooked, and the bananas on top had a strange taste—definitely not fresh. My girlfriend ordered the cheesecake, which we could only assume had been left out in the sun; it was warm, sloppy, and had a flavor that suggested it was past its prime. I’ve never eaten cheesecake and had such a literal thought about cheese before. While the base was somewhat edible, we don’t buy desserts just for the base, do we? To make matters worse, the ice cream was dreadful. I can only describe it as some off-brand cold sludge with a gritty texture due to the ice crystals throughout. Overall, I can only assume that ‘Puddo’ is a term I’ve never encountered that means ‘disaster.’ We wasted £25 and will not be returning. Avoid this service at all costs.

My partner's Classic Cheeseburger sat off to the side for 15 minutes before it was brought to the table, and by then, it was cold and poorly presented. The restaurant wasn't even busy. Due to the subpar food, lackluster service, and long wait times, I won’t be returning.
Terrible meal pizza had only half of the filling and was badly burnt. We didn't need to complain as a member of staff spotted the problem and arranged a suitable credit. Great customer service.
Absolutely shocking from start to finish! Went for special occasion and non of the staff knew what offers they had, got it but felt uncomfortable as had to argue the toss. Customer service doesn’t exist and management is even worse. No air con/fans in 28 degree heat so we were all far too hot, therefore didn’t enjoy meal and couldn’t wait to leave. Safe to say we won’t be returning which is a shame as we used to go quite a lot.
