The food and service has greatly improved since my last family visit here. The portions are generous, the food hot and the carvery meats tender and tasty. Decently priced dishes mean that a meal here is good value. Service was prompt and friendly and nothing was too much trouble View all feedback.

Unfortunately it has been under new management a few times and I’m sorry to say the food has suffered for it . Even the carvery which it is well known for has increased in cost quite a bit , understandably with the recent cost of living, but the food hasn’t increased in quality , less meat portions and undercooked veggies, or on one occasion of having a different meal totally overcooked. I really hope it’s short lived and they get back to the top dog we look forward to visiting.

The food was terrible, the staff were rude and incompetent, and we waited over 2 hours for cold food. The restaurant was dirty and it seems the new management has ruined the place. Overall, the dining experience was extremely disappointing. Service rating: 1, Food quality: 1, Atmosphere: 1. Dine-in option available, with a price range of £10-20 per person.
