In their first few months of op... read more The Caledonia is now under new ownership and the landlord Brad and his partner Zoe are a super welcoming and hardworking couple! In their first few months of opening, they have already been upgraded and awarded a Star hygiene rating! Plus a Casque Mark...of excellence for their cellar and beers! They serve proper home-cooked tasty meals the rag pudding is my current favorite! They have a wide range of beers, real ale, cider, wines, and all sorts of spirits and a fair selection of tasty gins! They have great music playing all day and evening and the atmosphere is very friendly welcoming and enjoyable! Now the sun has begun to shine there's also a large beer garden with tables and chairs to enjoy the outdoors too music can still be enjoyed here too! Brad is a fan of Rock music and has regular Friday nights playing Rock music for all fans put there great atmosphere! If you are traveling through or into Ashton Under Lyne I highly recommend a visit to this smashing pub !! T
