Perfectly encapsulates the beauty of Mt Tamarind with Art, delicious food, a warm fireplace to beat the winter cold. I recently visited the cafe and cannot get enough of the welcoming staff, would recommend couples, families or travellers visiting by. The cafe accomodates everyone. I would have to agree with the many other reviews that state the inside is quite nice, fireplace just lovely on a cold Mount Tamborine day, but the food is well below par.Coffee and tea were nice, and my friend was very happy with her gluten free toasted sandwich. Beautiful surroundings if you can eat outside. Very large menu for all. The meals were of great size and all perfectly cooked. The ice drinks are a highlight.
The food was perfect... we live about 30 minutes away from the mountain and can't believe that we only found it now. Can not wait to be back, staff was friendly, food was A and good priced and had a nice atmosphere. Thank you.
My friend and I recently visited Mount Tambourine and when it was the lunchtime between the retail therapy for the day we stopped at the gallery café "to be honest, the thing that attracted us to this place were the signs of... coffee they had because we were excited about coffee ", but when we came in and looked at the menu, we both went so freshly that we were so happy that we were able to eat it. Very generous! delicious! and affordable! Thank you, you will visit again when back in the area!
We bought lunch, but we just wanted to drink water. When I asked about water, I was informed that they did not provide tap water, I had to buy one from the refrigerator. Give this place a miss there are much better places for the service in the area.
We came for lunch but ended up just ordering a tea and some baked goods as the wait for food was 40 minutes. The raspberry muffin was fresh and yum, however the banana bread was the worst I have ever tasted. I am not sure...if it was just old, or a really bad commercially produced slice, but it was inedible.
