Pollo Rico Grill Wings - Tamarac

I’m from Orlando, and my family and I visited this restaurant. We had the best sancocho de cola, and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, and we really felt like part of the family. Lastly, we enjoyed the arroz con leche, which was also fantastic. I will definitely be back soon!

I ordered the sancocho de res, which is a beef rib soup. This was the large portion, but it only had three small pieces of meat, with the rest being mostly soup and potatoes. There were no corn, cassava/yucca, or sweet plantains, even though I requested them instead of the arepa (corn cake) and avocado. The taste was good, but the portion size is a problem. It used to be better. From now on, I’ll be going to El Buen Gusto for my soup.

What a gem Pollo Rico Grill is! My wife and I can't stop raving about the incredible flavors in our meals. The half chicken with rice and beans was absolutely delightful. The chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender! Our favorite dish, however, was the tostones with guacamole. The guacamole was outstanding—fresh and bursting with flavor. We also received excellent service from the waitstaff. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Ordered 10 chicken wings only for $8.99 . It is worth the wait. Very tasty and wings and flats full of meat.Food: 5/5

Worst service I experienced. I am afro Latina, so I'm used to be approached differently than my non black Latin friends. Everyone that enters is spoken to in Spanish, I was greeted in English by one of the female workers in the front, still ok. She was nice. I waited with my 2 year old patiently. Another woman that was assisting in the front, comes near my table with a bag of food and throws it on the table ? she didn't even look my way. My baby said hi and she ignored my baby and walked away. I honestly thought the food was for a pick up order, until the nice lady approached me and gave me the bag that was thrown to the table 10 minutes later... I felt so offended when I realized it was my food, I will NEVER go there again. Food wasn't even good, I didn't want to cause a scene in front of my baby......I'd rather go spend $14 for the same hard rice and dry chicken at a place that will serve me with respect and kindness.
