Brushy Bayou - Tallulah

We dined here about a year ago. The food was decent, but the price seemed a bit steep considering the limited options on the buffet. Desserts were served in small, two-inch plastic cups, and the potato salad was in a large Tupperware container without any ice underneath, sitting alongside the salad. Although we were told it was freshly made, I hesitated but decided to try it anyway. My husband opted for the menu items since the buffet wasn’t as carefully maintained as most places in the northern U.S., and it was quite hot that day. I experienced some digestive issues, which is unusual for me, but it might have been related to the meal. The staff did an excellent job preparing the meat, and we saw them enjoying the buffet as well. My husband really liked his steak from the menu. Next time, we plan to try the Country Pride next door, as it has received much better reviews. We may return in the future.
