In French for the 3rd time. As always the food and service were excellent. Plat du jour was interesting, but we chose a la carte. The classic onion soup was a delight in a windy day. The chicken I had melted in my mouth. The wine list was good and eager as it should. All in all tres bon as before. Frency is worth a visit when in Tallinn. Booking a table for dinner is a Wsy to avoid disappointment, as locals keep the... View all feedback.
What Anna P doesn't like about Frenchy Bistro:
Popular bistro in Telleskivi. You can't get in on Friday evenings without a reservation. Stopped by on Saturday for lunch. Cozy, small fireplace (it went out soon), murals. The wine selection is good. We ordered 3 different dishes duck burger, duck breast and octopus pasta. The portions are small, the price is 15 17 €, which would be normal if the quality of the food were not so ordinary. The duck was obviously froze... View all feedback.
Excellent restaurant. All the dishes were tasty and carefully prepared. Also noticed that they were light in the stomach, showing quality ingredients and way of cooking. Also the prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent. Great place at Telliskivi square.
The food was delicious. I had onion soup and ravioli and was not disappointed. Our server had a good sense of humour and was very helpful. They don't have a separate kids menu, but our server helped my 8-year-old pick something out, and she was happy in the end. I'll definitely be back.
The food is good and delicious, but if you are hungry, make sure to order an appetizer as well. Don’t repeat my mistake, I left the restaurant a little bit disappointed because of this.
Located in the hipster Telliskivi area. We had three courses there, decent but inconsistent food. French Onion tasted good but came with the skinniest and saddest miniature slices of bread, vegetarian quiche was pretty bland. Sea bass was nicely done but was accompanied by undercooked oven vegetables. The chocolate fondant was the best dish- delicious.
Frenchy was good but not amazing. I ate only starters (mussels and beef tartare). Food was tasty but especially mussels were a bit too creamy for my taste and beef tartar was a bit too pickled tasting although it was still pretty good. Another thing was that a lot of items from the menu were out of stock which was not a big issue for me (only would have wanted oysters) but you should have enough food to serve customers. It was only one a clock in the middle of the day. Of course current situation in eastern Europe may also cause some problems to logistics.
