I had a fabulous night last night with the Dirty Ruffled Band. The group was excellent. The meal was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be going back and would recommend it to others. View all feedback.
Was only for a nice Sunday breakfast. perfectly fried eggs on butter crusty brot for me and the English breakfast for my friend. all fresh ingredients and generous portions. extensive selection and large coffee. very cheap prices in a bright, airy bar. try it! you will like that! This traditional pub is a hit with my kids. I wish I could visit more frequently, but it's a long drive. I will definitely return and highly recommend it. Price range is £1-10 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks of 5. Don't miss the English Breakfast!
On Sunday, November 26th, we had made a reservation at Cosy Club in the town center of Stamford. However, after spending over an hour struggling to navigate through congested roads and the limited parking options in Stamford, we had no choice but to give up. I called The Whistle Stop expecting them to be fully booked, but they were able to accommodate our group of 4 adults and 3 children. They greeted us warmly and provided attentive service throughout our meal. We all enjoyed delicious and affordable hot dishes, making our overall experience a positive one, especially after the stress of parking in Stamford. For vegetarians, there were options available on the menu, and the same goes for those with dietary restrictions. As for families with children, we found the restaurant to be kid-friendly as kids could enjoy a complimentary roast dinner on Sundays when an adult purchases an adult roast dinner.
This village pub offers great value for money with their food. On Fridays, they have a special deal of two fish and chips for £12, which was excellent. I also tried the hunters chicken which was delicious, perfect for my picky daughter. We went back for Sunday lunch and it was also great. Overall, we were glad we stopped by. The price per person ranges from £10-20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. I recommend trying the Fish and Chips and Sunday Lunch.
I had a great night last night seeing the band Dirty Rumour. They were an excellent group. The meal was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for sure.
