The Lodge - Tallapoosa

This place was found on a random local drive adventure and was not disappointed! Eating came hot and right, servers were where they had to be, even the owners came a few times to make sure we had everything. Romantic atmosphere and soft music playing overhead makes you want to get up and dance slowly. Place is absolutely beautiful!!

On February 9th, my wife and I had a perfect dinner at the lodge. We expected a waiting period, but we immediately sat by a very polite young lady who took care of the business. Our order was immediately taken and arrived hot and tasty. My breast-eye steak was mouthwater. Actually, the food was perfect. The rustic decoration is beautiful, and the place is spotlessly clean. We can't wait for my money to return. And that was certainly not our first visit.

We loved our dinner tonight. The chicken with pimento cheese sauce was amazing. My husband had the shrimps and gres and loved them. Our children had chicken and penne and the kids shrimp dinner. Both meals were great. The roasted cheesecake was delicious. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely return!

Excellent food great price and the view is breathtaking. The owner and staff make you feel like part of the family.

Our family has eaten twice at the lodge restaurant near Tallapoosa, Georgia, once for dinner and again for the Sunday buffet. Both times the food was excellent and the staff went out the way to our meals especially and time spent an unforgettable experience here. I would highly recommend the Lodge Restaurant. The steaks are so delicate, you can cut with a fork. We enjoyed the time here very much. It eats great tasting in a family environment.
