If you want a sandwich made with love and quality ingredients, the Poplar Dawgs is your place. Seriously folks, for a great sandwich and a cold beer they cant be beat. Always loved this place but today wife had chicken salad sandwich so spicy with jalapeño it burned. Who in their right mind puts jalapeños in chicken salad? Maybe a few but not majority. View all feedback.
It's a local folks/working man place at lunch. Locals and lake folks evening and weekends. They work hard and don't try to be more than that, which is smart. Specials on weekends. Always nice folks, and a good value. Gravel parking lot, metal building. Mainly sandwiches.
Best roast beef sandwich. Actually roasted beef vs cold cuts.
Traveled from Tampa to meet and have lunch with Sam and friends. Very good food and great service. Very casual layed back and relaxed place for lunch.
Great place to eat on the lake and very friendly people also.
Eat here often, always a pleasure. Service is great as well as the food. Highly recommended!
