Whataburger - Tallahassee

This Whataburger is hit or miss. Used to be that the order was never right, the fries were cold. Then they got a lot better for a while. Today?s experience was not great. I had a giftcard I used at this location about a week ago and still had a $28balance. Tried to use this card today, and it wouldn?t work. I was expected to pay with my credit card, even though I had areceipt with the available balance still on the card. I told the cashier I would be paying for the order with my gift card, or Iwould not be taking the food at all. Cashier went back and forth with the manager, cashier came back and told me it wasn?tworking and I had to pay with a different card. I told them respectfully, it?s not my fault that the gift card I just used aweek ago at the same exact location suddenly wasn?t working. Nobody could tell me why, nobody could give me a solution as to howto get my card to work. Eventually the manager came back over into the window and told me ?she understands there?s money on thecard, but it?s not working, and [I?m] being difficult.? I told the manager that wasn?t my intention, that I just wanted to usethe available gift card money that I had. Finally, the manager tried the card on a different register. The cashier came back tothe window and gave me my card back. I said did it work? She said no and handed me my food. She said I should go to anotherWhataburger to see if the gift card works somewhere else. Overall I sat in the drive thru for about 30 min, holding up a longline of cars behind me. I wish this Whataburger could just get it together. One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite butstarting to not be worth it anymore.

My favorite burgers and fries, however, this place has gone downhill after covid hit. You can tell it?s a different owner/manager, by the way customer service has gotten worse, extremely slow drive-thru, and both times I went last time I?vegotten cold, raw fries. It?s been months since I?ve been here, which is a shame since these were my favorite burgers. Butreceiving raw fries twice, I just can?t come here to waste money. Other Whataburgers in Tallahassee are the same.

Once again I pull up at 427am and nobody takes your order at the drive thru. They simply can't get it together. I work right across the street and can't eat there because they hire only incompetent people. 6/29/22 4:27 am and I'm looking at therestaurant from my office window and can't even eat there because of incompetent employees..

I mean... Whataburger is the bomb. Ketchup is fire as heck. Bacon avocado burger is so dank. My kid loves everything about that holy grail of an orange and white striped building. People that don't like Whataburger probably don't like puppies and kittens,either. 10/10
