The Sweet Shop - Tallahassee

I visit the Sweet Shop almost every morning for coffee and breakfast. The owner is always so kind to me, greeting me with a smile and a warm "good morning." The coffee is the best I've ever tasted, and the breakfast is amazing. I always feel safe and welcomed at the Sweet Shop, and I truly appreciate all the staff there.

For example, there was one day when his son was only letting four people in at a time—not for COVID reasons, but because they were short-staffed. The poor kid had to lock and unlock the door about every 15 seconds, all while his dad was yelling orders at him from behind the counter. Once we finally got inside, we had to order almost immediately, and my girlfriend was visibly nervous, knowing she’d get an earful if she took too long to decide. It’s a chaotic atmosphere, but the food is really worth it. You have to experience it for yourself!

I come here twice a week with friends, and I genuinely love the food and drinks here. However, despite both my friend and I having bought food and drinks, my friend was publicly shamed and yelled at by the manager for having an empty Starbucks cup fromearlier in the morning. We both follow the rule of not having outside food and drink, but the manager continued to berate myfriend even after explaining the cup was empty. How dare you shame us in public for a genuine misunderstanding. Show some basicrespect for your customers. You have lost our business and we will be telling our friends about this as well.

This is a nice place to enjoy a good meal. We frequently stop by when visiting our daughter. They offer a good variety of paninis, wraps, and salads. The smoothies were quite fruity, although a bit diluted. I would definitely come back.

The owner is amazing, we have come two days in a row. The steak, egg, and cheese crossaint is delicious and so is the Witches Brew Coffee. Sincerely mother of the ?A? student
