Tasty Pastry Bakery - Tallahassee

We've been going into this bakery for at least 10 years. it's already awhile since we were in, but we were so excited to grab our favorite dessert. petit four. we came intact on Friday after lunch with all our patients. only two people before us when we were looking for the choice. the case showed only 3 petit four, but we had hopes that more would be in the back. when we asked if there were more, the brunette with glasses looked so annoying and said: “If there are only three in the case, then that is all we have.” we brushed it off, and asked for cake slices and if they still offered them as they were before, and the woman again said with the same look: "if it is not in the case, then we don't have it." I've never been one who ever left a bad review, but that was very unprofessional and unnamed. we still bought the remaining competition four, among a few others desserts, but we were very disappointed as none of the desserts had any wow factors. we don't go away for an hour to visit this place again.

Disappointed. I ordered two cheesecakes in advance for a work function. Two questions with the orders, a problem with the shop and a problem with the staff. First issue with order: via the phone I was told that the cheese cakes were 7 so that I ordered two. You're more like 9-10 and I could have done it with one. More cheesecake is not the worst problem. Main issue with order, I have specifically asked for toppings on the page. We discussed this in length in this phone Convo bc the person I ordered for simple cheesecake, so I asked for toppings on the page. Very concrete. Get in the store to get yourself. No simple cheese cake available. Ididn have no other option for work function this day, so I checked with my boss and got the wrongly prepared order anyway. Very embarrassing! Delivery with the store: not clean. Gloves and crumbs on the ground, crumbs in the front corners of the cases, lubricated on the glass fronts of the cases, filling everywhere. No pleasant first impression. Problem with the staff: They were not very concerned about the wrong order, they just kind of smiled and said a half-hearted suffering. I'm not looking for hysterics or something like it's important to you. In the end, they only charged me for simple cheesecake, not for topping, so I think. I'm not going back to this place. If you will order for a function in advance, I think that you need to double and triple your order to be sure, but the cleanliness/clutter problem is really the deal breaker.

The cakes are for a dinner party and are absolutely beautiful. What really impressed me, but was the Ingwerbrotmann I had. It was fabulous and I had no one since I was a child in rural Ohio. Fantastic. We'll need back.

You're kidding? I took one to go the insole of baked ziti and meatballs to take for a meal for a family from my church. I wish I would have asked what size pan they consider food 4-6 people!!! An 8”x8” pan MAY feed 4 adults, and that presses it, but 6 people?! Not even close, And you charge 36.00 for an 8x8 pan? It's just ridiculous. The young lady took it out and I panicked right away. I thought they had made the wrong size. I literally asked, this is for 4-6 people?! She said yes. I was embarrassed to throw it out. Portion sizes are not accurate at all. Never again.

Ingredients not the same. Lots of oils and shortenings that taste like Albertsons and not as fresh as before. Years ago I really looked forward to every bite. Now i pitch most as my family wont eat it. Too bad, it was great.
