First off the hostess didn’t give us the option o... read more I honestly wish I could give “Table 23” 5 stars but there was just too many cons for me to deal with at once . First off the hostess didn’t give us the option on whether we wanted to sit inside or outside,we were automatically put outside in the cold and it was freezing making the entire time there hard to enjoy unfortunately. The Pomegranate Martini was very strong but came in a very dirty glass with fingerprints all over , I had to ask for a completely new glass due to me being so disgusted by how unsanitary the bar glasses were. Finally when the entrees came out the presentation was a bit sloppy but when I took my first bite I was actually surprised and was completely in awe by how tasteful and flavorful the shrimp and grits were. Tallahassee has been letting me down on an actual good shrimp grits but Table 23 shocked me with body dancing homestyle Gouda Cheese Grits. so if your love shrimps and grits like I do definitely try them OUT!

The food is just mediocre.... read more We have given Table 23 three opportunities to provide us with food we could rave about but unfortunately it’s 3 strikes you’re out!! The food is just mediocre. This last time we were there for an early dinner (weekday). We ordered the pimento cheese, the Grouper and the pecan crusted trout. For dessert it was banana pudding. Overall the food doesn’t have the flavor and dimension I would’ve expected. Lastly, we ordered the banana pudding. This southern favorite was disappointing. The bananas, the multiple wafers and vanilla taste we have come to expect from a good banana pudding was non existent in this one. Come on Table 23! We were rooting for this to be a staple on our restaurant circuit.

The serv... read more For the first time there for brunch and it was AMAZING. I have cookies and Gravy, and they were the best cookies I've ever had. He melts in your mouth. The servers were friendly and very efficient, although you were int training. The regular drinks were cheap, and of course floorless Bellinis were brilliant. I would like to recommend brunch and have to go back to lunch or dinner sometime.

We 've... read more My wife tried to take me to Table 23 several times in the past and after I finally broke down and went, I kicked myself for taking so long to try it out. We 've traditionally gone there for the dinner entree 's which can be a bit pricey, but definitelyworth it! However, they 've got really reasonably priced salads and sandwhiches and other 'lunch items ' that have made me reallywant to stop there for lunch whenever I can. The atmosphere is awesome and the service has always been top notch. Lookingforward to many more trips!

The main dishes were proportioned perfectly and delicious. Deserts were great except for the bananapudding which was not up to any of our standards.
