I was in town for Parent's Weekend at FSU, and my daughter was craving good pasta. The bartender at our hotel recommended Mom Dad's, and it did not disappoint! The entire place was bustling with an inviting atmosphere, complete with a live band. Although the restaurant was very busy, the service was impressively quick. What User doesn't like about Mom Dad's Italian:
The restaurant was okay for what it was. Our waitress was amazing and we were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess. The atmosphere was amazing, with set tables and linens. The food was meh . We got the antipasto but were not told about what cheeses were on the board. The meats looked like they were right from a Publix 3-pack. Very nice restaurant but a very young couple decided to save their babysitting money and eat at a nice restaurant?Baby yabbered during the jazz pianistthe entertainment for over 45 minutes..The cute little jabber was close to transitioning to sleepy cry???The guy tried to get louder to cover it but unsuccessfully.
The staff(AJ and Sandy) were extremely attentive and friendly and the food was simply amazingly. Definitely 5 stars all around!
Food was dry, over cooked. Nothing like the old Mom Dads' on the Apalachee PKWY
We had a great great Father’s day buffet. Shrimp and grits was delicious!
