We chose this ice salon due to the advertising for vegan ice. I like the support of local businesses and never leave negative reviews, but feel compelled to warn the vegan community. the vegan ice here is not edible. the first two flavors had frozen in ice. the manager replaced a cup and the unopened chocolate was also not edible. try like a science experiment, like a marchmallow-creme-location that is placed in the freeze cabinet. Uncertain who supplies her, but it's the worst I ever had. I wish them well and please the administration to use another supplier. buying a vegan taste in food business would be better and much cheaper.

They change up their vegan flavors everyday, so if you have a favorite, be sure to look on their website before you go. I tried the vegan blueberry cheesecake ice cream the other day, and it was amazing! It had a great creamy texture. The man at the counter didn't understand that I wanted the vegan at first, but was extremely nice when I corrected him, and got a new bowl and everything to get me the right kind. Every time I've been here, the employees have been super nice and accommodating.

I'm a vegan so on a recent visit to Tallahassee, I visited the much talked about LP. I was very, very disappointed! Coming from Atlanta, I'm used to having delicious, flavorful vegan ice cream. This ice cream did not meet even my minimum expectations for flavor or consistency. The cinnamon ice cream had way too much cinnamon which over powered the already bland taste. Likewise, the vanilla lacked the rich creamy texture of other vegan ice creams. The toppings did not help any. They were just as flavorless. On the Friday I went, they did not have bananas for a banana split or a to-go container to put it in. The girl that helped me was very nice. She offered to go to the store to get bananas but the shift supervisor told her it would take 20 minutes. Sooooooooo here's the scoop on my order: two vegan scoops w/4 vegan toppings- marshmallow, pineapple, wet walnuts and caramel; one kiddie scoop of lemon sorbet, one scoop of champagne sorbet. total $21.02. Not worth the money!!!!

I love that this locally owned shop always carries vegan ice cream. Try the chocolate vegan ice cream with peanuts on top awesome. You can watch candy being made and the store is packed with fun games and toys for purchase.

We jumped at the chance for a dairy-free milkshake (vegan icekream plus almond milk), and was richly rewarded! Staff was very vegan friendly and knowledgeable. The sweet kream and chocobanana flavors were delicious, but the best part was the vegan whipped cream on top, which was to die for!

Lofty Pursuits offers a vibrant, family-friendly environment, where the joy of handmade ice cream and candy meets whimsical decor. While some guests praise the unique flavors and creamy textures—especially the pistachio ice—the vegan options receive a more lukewarm response, with critiques focusing on their overly sweet and inconsistent quality. Staff are attentive, though they sometimes struggle to keep up with demand. Overall, the eclectic setting filled with toys and the casual ambiance create a fun outing, even if the ice cream experiences vary widely. If you're seeking a delightful visit rather than culinary excellence, Lofty Pursuits delivers.

I got a scoop of vegan vanilla with vegan ganache and it was RICH! So delicious! One scoop in a cup was just the perfect amount. Don’t miss it!

The restaurant serves delicious gluten-free pancakes that are also vegan, as well as a vegan hash made with breakfast potatoes and grits. These dishes are available all day, which allowed me to indulge in breakfast for dinner on a recent Friday. The ambiance is delightful, featuring charming antique decor scattered throughout the space.

I was disappointed with the vegan vanilla ice cream at this restaurant. I'm not sure what ingredients they used in their recipe, but I've had many vegan vanilla ice creams before, and this one didn't taste like ice cream at all. It had more of a flavor reminiscent of poor-quality frozen sour cream, and my serving had no hint of vanilla. I would give it just 1 star.

I appreciate the attempt to offer vegan ice cream at this restaurant, but I would rather see no options than have poorly made ones. The ice cream was excessively sweet and had a hint of sourness. While the texture started off well when frozen, it quickly turned gummy as it melted. I wouldn't recommend the ice cream. The vegan ganache was enjoyable, but it was the only dish that truly stood out.

Visited at noon on 7/16/22- Saturday. Pros: My Hubby enjoyed the chicken tenders and coffee (luckygoat is our favorite). The atmosphere is welcoming as well. Customer service in terms of friendliness was great. Opportunities for improvement:Communication must be better. We were not told how long we would be waiting prior or during ordering our food and it was about a40-50 minute wait on our to go order of chicken tenders/fries and corned beef hash. The fries was average and unfortunately, thecorned beef was little too salty. The potatoes could?ve been cooked a little longer. Back to communication, we should?ve beenupdated throughout our order on when our food would be completed and was disappointed to have no forms of communication. Most ofthe staff was standing around drinking and chatting and more attention should?ve been on the customers who were patientlywaiting for almost an hour for simple orders. Overall: It could?ve been the time or day (it wasn?t busy) but, I don?t think Iwould return as I was not a fan of the food. However, it seemed many people came for candy and ice cream so MAYBE I?ll Come backto visit for that. Things that doesn?t have to be cooked basically.

My spouse and I visited Lofty tonight to pick up some Unicorn Droppings (we're building quite the collection at home, with flavors like Corn, Ham, and Horchata!) and as many bags of Holiday Leftovers 2022 as we could find. Unfortunately, we missed out on the carrot flavor—if you snooze, you lose! We also had the chance to watch the candy-making process (I like to call them peppermint pillows) from beginning to end. This experience meant a lot to us since we often enjoy Lofty's YouTube videos during dinner at home. We're excited to see how the episode featuring this candy-making process turns out on YouTube, highlighting the fascinating and delicious procedure of making candy. Thank you, Lofty—we'll definitely be returning soon to satisfy our sweet cravings!

I traveled from Miami to dine at this restaurant, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. It boasts a fantastic location and has a welcoming, family-friendly vibe. The staff was attentive and patient, contributing to a lovely dining experience. The food was delicious and comforting, and I can't stop thinking about the pistachio ice cream—smooth, creamy, and absolutely divine!

Lofty Pursuits is consistently a wonderful place to visit. The ice cream, handmade candies, and unique assortment of toys from around the globe contribute to a charming atmosphere for a family ice cream outing. The outdoor seating is particularly lovely at sunset.

I truly love their homemade ice creams. Every time I visit, I make it a point to sample a different flavor, but my all-time favorite is the Oblivion. The ice cream base is exceptionally creamy and smooth, making it a must-try for anyone who enjoys ice cream.
