What Casey Dempster doesn't like about I Heart Mac Cheese:
I ordered a regular Mac n cheese for myself and a vegan Mac n cheese bowl for my dairy allergic wife. My bowl was good but not the other….They just placed a couple of vegan cheese slices on top of the noodles, no sauce. Is it supposed to come this way? View all feedback.
Weird as hell. Whole place was broken down and smelled weird. Leak in the ceiling, only one worker, and obvious sanitation problems.
Ordered $40 of Mac and cheese directly from their website, and received a confirmation email and saw the money charged to my card. Then, the new employee (who was the only one in the entire restaurant) did her best to find the order. She was unable to locate it (which wasn’t her fault) and so she spoke to her manager. The manager refused to refund me or make the food. I will have to try to call corporate to get my money back since I wasn’t given the food that I paid for. I will never be returning.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
I ordered food on the website but was told when I got there “it’s not in the system” even though I had an email receipt and I paid for it on my card. The worker tried to find it and did her best but couldn’t. When she called with her supervisor, the supervisor refused to give me the food even though I had confirmation of the order. Then when we talked about a refund she said she couldn’t do it through their system and said it would have to be through corporate later. Then when I made one comment saying I didn’t feel she was accommodating me (very calmly , she yelled at me for multiple minutes, and even when I tried to move past it and just give her my information, she ignored me and continued to yell at me. Then when I asked for her information she refused to give it to me and told me to just leave my information with the worker. Then she hung up the phone on me. I left the restaurant in tears. Such disrespectful management, will not be back. (And still need that refund…
We ordered food online and when we went to pick it up they “could not find it in the system” and would not provide a refund even though the transaction went on the card. Not only was it $40 worth of food that we didn’t get, the supervisor (over the phone) yelled at us and hung up on us because we asked for a refund if they wouldn’t make the food. Being one of the only places I can get any type of gluten free pasta, I was excited to finally be able to get gf mac and cheese. The experience left the employee (who was new and completely overwhelmed) and my friend in tears. Horrible experience. I will never go back.
Wanted to try this place after hearing so much about it, pull up because Google said it was opened, but doors are locked despite people eating inside. Either they need to update their hours, or maybe putting a sign saying they are closed, this was heavily disappointing.
