Gordo's Authentic Cuban Food

I can't say enough good things about my lunch. I had the El captain with black beans and rice tostones with one side of Gordo's sauce (get to pay extra and get this sauce, it is worth the operation fee). The food came hot, perfectly cooked fish, and the portion size is on point. In fact, I shared with a colleague and still wanted to take a nap after lunch!

Everytime I visit Tallahassee, I try to make a stop and Gordos for a meal. Portions are generous and the food is good. Love the gigantic beverage cups. Those cups keep the wait staff from needing to refill as often. I have heard the college students swarm this place on the weekend nights. I haven't witnessed that but translates to : beer prices are competitive.

Gordos is always a great place to eat. I truly enjoy the Gordos smasher and the hamburger and fries!!! If you are looking for an authentic Cuban place to eat, Gordos is truly that place. Fun atmosphere (many college students are there), strong drinks, and great food, is a combination for a great time.

Your Cuban sandwich is incredible, but a little on the smaller side. The rest of our food was great. It is definitely worth a visit!
