El Patron Mexican Grill and Cantina

This is the best Mexican restaurant I've experienced in Tallahassee by far, the food is authentic and fresh. Always consistent . Very clean throughout and the staff is very nice and friendly. Great portions for the price. THANK YOU PATRON!

We love it here, our waiter is Awesome and very polite and on top of everything. The food is always great and consistent. Great atmosphere and music.

The service was average the drinks tasted like watered down margaritas, the chimichanga was very tiny, no flavor, flavorless steak the only decent thing was the chorizo and cheese. You live and learn .

This place rocked. Had choriqueso and pollo fundido. Tasted great, served quickly, everyone was nice. Ignore the 1-star crybabies and have a good meal at a good price at El Patron. Salsa could have been more spicier and more flavorful, but it?s hardly a dealbreaker with so many other great things to try.

Did a to go order. It was very well packaged in metal dishes with paper tops. The nacho are good lots of beef and cheese. The flautas are crispy and stuffed with chicken but a little bland. I dip them in nachos which made them really good. The portions are huge, and I was full with the nachos and flautas. I save the enchiladas with mola sauce for dinner the next night. It was good even the next day good helping of rice and beans. Well flavored I really like mola sauce. My meal came with huge bag of chips. My only complaint is I ask for silverware and didn?t get any. The staff who helped were nice. It was good. Its a bit hard to find. It has lots of big screen TVs. It has really nice looking outdoor patio. I would try again if I was in that part of town
