What Ron James doesn't like about Earley's Kitchen:
This is a business that has succeeded despite its shortcomings (both the downtown and Southwood locations). The customer service is terrible, and the food leaves much to be desired. The staff seems to have an attitude and often makes you feel like you're inconveniencing them. The Southwood location, in particular, is the worst. The good was great. Large portions and I had the juiciest fried chicken breast I've ever had. We will be back

Early's kithchen is a cafeteria style restaraunt, the entrees are already prepared and you simply chose what you want to eat. That being said the food is great I really enjoy the breakfast, I stop in about once a week and get eggs, grits, bacon and a coffee. The people are super nice and the place is always clean.
