What Cynthia Feeney doesn't like about 926 Grill:
I came to see a cover band play some of my favorite songs and was taken aback about how slow the service was. They were not busy at all, but in spite of that I had to to wait to even place a drink order. As a member of the service industry i feel like i have a reasonable expectation of what to expect but they were slow and I was denied quick service for whatever reason. Do not recommend. Period. *Edit, the guy barten... View all feedback.
We visited the restaurant in the early afternoon and found it to be quiet, but returned later in the night to find it lively with two bands playing. The atmosphere was colorful with rainbow flags everywhere, though it did not give off the vibe of a gay bar. It was a diverse crowd and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, dancing and drinking. Just a heads up in case that is important to you.
I love the environment on Taco Tuesday at 926 and I love to go there with my friends. the tacos are really the best tacos on Tuesdays! I tried to order 3 tacos, and because the bartender thought I would take them to go, he told me he didn't leave me to order them. I asked? And you're not being put in order? And he said, No? and that was it. I don't feel like doing this every week, so don't I think? ll go back to suck because I love this place.
I really love this place and their Taco nuns are the BEST TACOS in the city. Everyone who works there is a joy, so I am so surprised why they keep Ian. I promise you I'm not a Karen, but his blatant disregard is extremely unnamed. He deliberately confused with customers he doesn't like, not into their orders, so they literally never get their food. He'll see you right in the eye and wonder why your food hasn't arrived when he knows damn sure he never put in the order and has to clock in a few minutes. He has done this to several customers and literally has my friend Food. She went to the order and he literally said no. That wasn't a joke. I went every week, but I don't think I'm going back as long as he works there.
My fiancé and I drove from Orlando to Tallahassee for the weekend and decided to dine at this restaurant both Friday and Saturday night. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, the bartenders were generous with their pours, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was welcoming to all, with great music and a fun, judgment-free environment where people were there to have a good time. The LGBTQ+ community was represented with love and respect, and the drag show was entertaining with a hilarious host. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We will definitely make the 3-hour drive to come back here. Thank you for an amazing experience.
There is a customer who is acting entitled because they were not able to order the house special (tacos). Ian is a fantastic bartender who helped create Taco Tuesday during the pandemic to attract customers. It is surprising how some people react when they are told no. It is unfortunate that some may resort to dishonesty.
