Nestled conveniently for locals, this restaurant presents a mix of experiences reflecting both highs and lows. Diner reviews highlight exceptional food with standout salmon and an impressive wine list, although some meals have fallen short on seasoning. Service quality varies significantly; guests report both delightful staff interactions and instances of rudeness, particularly with wait times and attentiveness. While the scenic views enhance the dining experience, securing a window-side reservation is crucial. Overall, patrons appreciate the outdoor terrace on sunny days, but the inconsistent staff demeanor and service speed can overshadow the appealing menu offerings.

We were seated just as another table of four was seated. Same waiter. We ordered soup to start as did the other table. It cam out barely warm. Seafood Chowder needs to be hot. The other tabe sent theirs back. We decided to tough it out and it got tougher as it cooled off more. My complaint is I told the waiter that ours was the same and he didn't offer to take our bowls as well. That was wrong. I think they just nuked the other tables bowls which is almost ok but they should have comped us our soup. The rest of the meal was hot and good. Not sure what the standard procedure is for this but he should have asked. I have to blame it on a new hire and was unsure what the protocol was.

The chef went out of her/his way to create a delicious meal for my allergy issues.

The food and service were both good. The bread rolls were delicious, and the dressing on the Caesar salad was very tasty. I had read a few negative reviews, so we were pleasantly surprised.

The service was outstanding and the views were beautiful, so be sure to book a table by the windows. On a pleasant day, the outdoor patio is a fantastic option. The wine selection is good, although slightly pricey. The salmon portion was generous and well-seasoned, but it was a bit dry. The vegetables were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The dessert options looked enticing, but we were too full from the salmon to indulge in any.

When I arrived, this restaurant was closed, so I opted for Base Camp instead. Unfortunately, they were understaffed and running low on supplies as they were trying to reduce their inventory for winter. When I inquired about the staff shortage, the manager responded in a rather snarky manner. Overall, my dinner experience and the service left much to be desired.
