Was User at The Dangerous Kitchen a mag?
cool decor, was drawn by a sign with new vegan cake.' I was not disappointed, it was delicious! gluten-free scum. beautiful hearty torte with black lenses and walnuts, highly recommended! View all feedback.

What User dislikes about The Dangerous Kitchen:
the food was ok, but the service was really what this place has settled. we were ignored when we came in when the two were talking to each other. the menus were well used and looked dirty. I didn't think the vegan options were that great for the breakfast - I had the granola and got over a teaspoon of cocosnus yogurt with it. the banana had brown pieces on it. the cabinet food looked good, but not much vegan. Great pizza, coffee and cake. We all made different choices and were equally satisfied. Highly recommended

A gem. A great little place with some very interesting food options. Seems to be very popular with the hippies too. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor (there's a cool garden area out the back) and a bar in the middle. I had a venison sausage roll, it was damn good. The prices are perhaps a bit steep but the quality matches what you'd expect for that and the cafe's environment. You should probably dine in to get the full value.

During our visit to Takaka in January, my family, including three teenagers, stopped by DK for takeaway coffees in the morning. We were so impressed by the food and vibe that we made sure to come back for dinner later that evening. The pizzas were the best we've ever had and the desserts were perfect. We can't stop talking about it! The atmosphere in the garden was fantastic and the staff were lovely. Thank you!
