I have a dinner tasty of friend, so I am not sure how much after discounts, but it is NT1098 pro pax for a 6 curs meal on the basis of the menu. very nice decor with private rooms. sumptuous, but possibly not exactly fill out, so the manager served us without additional fee with braided meat. every dish is declared when it is served. Here you come to feel special. the decoration was elegant; the personal was well trained and professional; the service was excellent; eating was an art in his own right. However, this comes with a preseed meal that serves all kaiseki style, launch them at tw $980 US$32) per person and can up to a floating tw $4880 US$162!) we ordered the TW$980 and the TW$1380 set and shared everything. the teller presentation was exquisite, if not a little ott to time. the appetizers were very good, but when the meal went, I felt that many courses looked better than they tasted. the ingredients seemed repetitiw and the aromen weakest part, although the fact that we could have shared with bite-size food could also affect our overall experience. that said the two main dishes were really excellenta lions man mushroom agitator cry and said mushrooms in black pfeffer sauce. these mushrooms have an incredibly fleshy and complex texture that will harm the much loved portobello. when we come back, we will probably just order them and a few dishes a la carte and call it a night. our meal put us back over TW$2500 US$83), which was a splurge in a city with such a strong and lively veggie scene. eating here was decent enough a few courses were delicious but not so great to justify this price level (and, remember, we have chosen the cheapest options). the atmosphere was chic and the service was impeccable, so there.
This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the world. the presentation is just so beautiful, they bought me a tiny sesame that in a glass, on a piece driftwood, with an orchide in a vase on it. I didn't want to eat it, but when I did, it was emptying one of the most beautiful things I've ever put in my mouth. that was just one of 10 curses. I went back to my last day in taipei (and ever green buffet) and although I was dressed openly like a hobo by Taiwan standards, the waitresses were all really happy to see me again and treated me even better than the first time. it is expensive, but they only live once, so pay what they ask, they just think how nice eating look and taste and how happy they are to be there, and enjoy the moment as it is a long time before they have a chance to eat at a place that is good again. ok, that everything has said as vegan they have served me a drink with honey in it, so make sure they let them know when they order.
This vegetarian restaurant is one of its kind! everyone is treated like a king. I had the pleasure to get a taste of their 10 curs lunches (nt 1.080.00 pp,) with a wide selection of appetizers, meals and desserts. every cherry was like beautiful dreams very nice and the main dish steak was really great! each dish was cooked to perfection and declared by the beautiful waitress the names, ingredients and the health benefits for the diner. an unforgettable lunch must be when you visit taipei!
Great food, beautifully presented, great service. However, I wasn't a fan of the tea (tasted burnt to me...)but I think that was how it was supposed to be. We had the steak set meal (cheapest set meal) and it was amazing. I think it was mad out of mushrooms.. We'll definitely go back to try the other set meals... The food is pricey, but worth it!
