Taking the reins is Chef Eric Chen, who stepped in as Executive Chef at age 35. With previous experience at acclaimed restaurants like RAW and FRASSI, Chef Chen brings a distinct culinary voice that blends Cantonese flavors with North American fire-grilling techniques. His new menu is centered around fermentation and aging, resulting in dishes that are rich, complex, and deeply satisfying. Some of the dishes sort of lacked... read more Their food overall was quite delicious, I preferred some dishes more than others, specifically the tuna tartare was amazing!!! Some of the dishes sort of lacked depth of flavor, like the fried crystal dumpling, it was also slightly greasy. I found the pineapple pork and egg sandwich to be a little confusing in flavors, but still not bad, for me it was a touch too sweet. We really enjoyed the fried pork belly and the beef short rib! Their drinks are really really good! I’m sort of sad I missed out on them when they were 1 star Michelin rating, seems like so much potential here but overall we had a great experience. Plating was beautiful, staff super friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is also very beautifully decorated. The seats are comfy. Will come back for sure!
