This restaurant claims to be a vegan restaurant with English signage, but in reality, it serves very little vegan food. It seems that many people in Taiwan, including Buddhists, may not understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan, despite the government's labeling system. The menu offers overpriced pasta and other international dishes commonly found in upscale restaurants in Taiwan. It would be better to take the MRT to Guting Station and visit Ooh Cha instead. I did not eat at this restaurant and do not recommend it to vegan customers. I hope the situation improves in the future, and I will update or remove this review if necessary.
Okay, so they say they're vegan, but they're not really vegan. but they have a whole vegan menu with decent decisions. simple lunch consists of some plastered vegetables to begin, then a basic dish with rice and suppe in a mushroom broth, then coffee or tee and a small biscuit. great location in chiang Kai-Shek memorial hall.
This restaurant promotes courageously as a vegan restaurant with English characters around, but serves very little vegan. it is probably clear, as many Buddhists in taiwan turn a blind eye on the suffering of milk cows, and so they do not understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan (or do not) despite the excellent knowledge of the government. eating with the menu is the typical overpriced pasta and other international foods found in many upscale restaurants in taiwan. it would be much better to take the mrt, a stop south to the guting station and go to uh cha. note: I did not eat there and recommended it. this review is to warn vegan customers away, as it is courageous as vegan with English characters. I will gladly update or remove this review if the dinge changes or someone who dines there can explain the situation better.
Ok so they say they are vegan but they are not actually entirely vegan. But they have a whole vegan menu with decent choices. Simple set lunch consists of some pickled vegetables to start, then a basic dish with rice and soup in a mushroom broth, then coffee or tea and a small cookie. Food is ok, not terrible but not great. Great location in Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall.

The menu consists of typical overpriced pasta and international dishes commonly found in upscale restaurants in Taiwan. For a better vegan dining experience, it is recommended to visit Ooh Cha Cha at Guting Station one stop south on the MRT. Please note that I did not personally eat at this restaurant and do not recommend it for vegan customers. I am willing to update or remove this review if the situation changes or if someone with dining experience can provide further information.
