What Jim B doesn't like about Le Mangevins:
I went to this resto that was supposed to be open at 19h30. It was closed. I came back at 20h00 and it was still closed. If you are going to post a schedule that says you are open Mon-Fri at 19h30 you should be open. Otherwise post a sign. This has been a continuing annoyance in Tain/Tournon my whole stay. Most restos are open only at lunch and not for dinner. View all feedback.
This has become something of an institution in this part of the Rhone valley and is nearly always full as a result. The menu is simple with a choice of meat or fish. It's run by a French-Japanese couple. He is Vincent and does front of house with charm and ease while supervising the wines which are always well chosen and extend beyond the Rhone Valley. She is Keiko and is in the kitchen preparing her dishes with such rare attention to detail and refinement. Outstanding
Small family restaurant with excellent food and service, using mainly locally produced material. Our very engaged waiter guided us both through the menu and the wine list. All servings tasted great and served with good timing. Great wine list with reasonable prices with focus on northern Rhone.
Des mets délicieux confectionnés avec des produits frais et d'excellents conseils pour les vins qui les accompagnent. Un très bon moment!
Repas entre amis, excellent accueil et service impeccable sans trop en faire du coup on se sent très à l'aise, la carte est réduite volontairement mais c'est très très bien fait , pas vraiment pour les gros mangeur mais c'est tant mieuxLe choix et le conseils sur les vins très judicieux, bref un petit peu cher mais justifié par la qualité
