I would try this vegan place for the longest time as I visit the Taichung Flagship grocery store location next door quite often. So glad I finally made it! I was curious about what the lion pilz braided “gnocchi” (as Pleco translated it was. While waiting for my order, I picked up some utensils and enjoyed the free mushroom and carrot soup and slightly sweet tea. (The soup tasted almost like chicken broth: how did they do that?! I was stunned when it came out: a modest bowl of soup with a beautiful variety of vegetables, and the “gnocchi” was rather flat (western dumplings that came in three (probably natural colors). It was very full, but I wish there were more lion mane mushrooms in him, since it was in the name of the plate, finally. I can't expect to come back during the lunch service if they have a few more entrees and their drinks available. Only cash.
